Costa Rica to hold 2010 Medical Tourism Summit

Medical tourism is now a most popular team in the health care industry. Majority of the developing nations are spending heavily to increase the quality of health care and lure more medical tourists. Costa Rica is one such leading medical tourism destination. To further improve the country’s images as leading medical tourism hub, Costa Rica medical tourism board & PROMED is hosting Medical Tourism Summit 2012.

The summit will be held at San Jose, Costa Rica from April 23 to April 25, 2012. Chances are there that event will be held at famous hotel called Real Intercontinental located in Escazu, Costa Rica. Summit is expected to break the previous summit records and it’s believed that more than 500 representative from nearly 15 countries will attend the mega medical travelers summit.

How to register:

If you are one of the medical tourism companies anywhere in the world or you are some medical professional or a leading hospital, clinic etc interested in attending the mega event then you can register online till 31 December 12, 2011.

Cost for registration:

Registration costs are $330 per person if you are existing PROMED member. If you aren’t an PROMED member then you will need to pay the registration price of $350 per person.

Late fee registration:

I’d like all of you to register before December 31 however if you want to make up for the event later then you will need to pay little higher for attending the event. Registration costs during January 1, 2012 till April 23, 2012 will be $400 for PROMED members and $450 for non-members.

I feel this is a must attend event for anyone related to medical tourism facilitation industry.
